Dor-Chea Cattery is located in the Atlantic Province of Nova Scotia. Hi, My name is Dorothy Simpson and I am the owner/breeder of Dor-Chea cattery. I am located in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. I have been breeding Himalayans since late 1983. My first registered litter was born on Thanksgiving Day giving me my cattery name, which means "Thankfulness" in Chinese. A few years ago I had decided to add Persians to my breeding program. My cats have been raised with teenagers and a dog of medium size. My cats and kittens are very well socialized which helps them to be very friendly when going to a new home and family. I strive to breed to the standard and have healthy happy kittens. I am registered with the CFA, ACFA and CCA. I have shown my cats in Maine, New Hampshire and locally in Nova Scotia and PEI. I have been working with lines from Divarosa, Jolee's, Mossrose, Rose Island, Kyaleen, Ronlyn, Connaught, Anz, Cattrac, Kiikatz, Kitty Charm, Karable and Prancenpaws to name a few. My biggest love is the himalayan, those big blue eyes just melt my heart. I breed most colors including lynxpoints. Please take a moment to stroll through my pages and tell me what you think.
